Hello DFL Gang, today i'm going to talk about very special project called Hype Token which is brand new ERC-20 Token on Ethereum Blockchain, that is combining elements of Inflation and deflation, to get lot more detailed insight into the project i recommend reading their whitepaper at their website when you get time.

HYPE is a unique token created to experiment the Deflationary (Token Burning) + Inflationary (Freezing Rewards) tokenomic models. HYPE holders determine the Burning + Staking rates each month through an off-chain consensus made by verified holders who have ‘frozen’ HYPE.

FREEZE - Freeze HYPE tokens to be eligible to vote & receive daily rewards. The longer you have frozen = the more voting weight you have.
VOTE - Vote for the month’s burning & staking rates (monthly) and time taken to unfreeze tokens: melting (quarterly).
EXPERIENCE - Watch how your votes affect the supply of HYPE and collectively experience the results of voting for the inflation & deflation rates.
DEFLATION - Each time a user transfers HYPE, x% of the total transferred amount is burned., Possible rates: 0.1 – 50% per TX (Voted every month by users who have frozen HYPE)
INFLATION - Users are required to freeze their HYPE tokens to be eligible to vote and increase their voting weights. In return for freezing, users receive daily rewards. Possible Rates: 0.1 – 5% daily (Voted monthly by users who have frozen HYPE)
MELT - Simply refers to the time taken to unfreeze frozen tokens and rewards. Users will have to wait the ‘melting period’ until their frozen tokens and rewards can be released. Possibly melting period 24-168 hours (Voted quarterly by users who have frozen HYPE).
