Reddit forum has launched beta testing, rewards for Ethereum users for publishing content.
As part of the new loyalty program, users will receive MOONS and BRICKS tokens of the ERC-20 standard, writes "The Block". To manage the tokens received, Reddit has introduced a new Vault platform through which users can check their balance, receive and issue received tokens.
Vault is an Ethereum wallet created by Reddit for users.
At the time of testing, the platform also took on the fee for transactions in blockchain, because many users do not have cryptocurrencies. Beta testing will last until summer. During this time, tokens are placed in the Rinkeby test network. At the end of the tests, "community points" will be transferred to the main Ethereum network. For now, Reddit members can use tokens to vote, encourage content creators, and send funds. User token balances will be displayed publicly. Reddit has ensured that the intelligent contracts and application were tested by the cybersecurity company Trail of Bits.
