Sony has been proving for years that it can take care of players by handing them the highest class devices. With the new generation, it will offer players even better graphics, new possibilities and a whole new quality of gameplay.

When will the premiere of PlayStation 5?

At this moment, it is certain that PlayStation 5 is emerging. The producer finally shared official information on this subject. Mark Cerny (head architect of the device) gave them in an interview with Wired magazine. For a long time, not even the official wording "PlayStation 5" was mentioned, but a new generation console. However, it was difficult to expect Sony to decide on a solution other than the "five". This of course happened and in early October 2019, in another interview for Wired, it was confirmed that the new console is PlayStation 5 (PS5). When asked on Google PlayStation 5 "when the premiere", we will not find 100% reliable information, although there are some clues. Industry sources initially suggested that the debut could take place during the 2019 holiday season. Reality has verified these assumptions.

graphics card - PlayStation 5 graphics will be a special version of Radeon Navi with ray tracing technology and 8K resolution

ray tracing - realistic lighting reproduction in a dynamic environment, which allows you to create realistic graphics and improves the animation of lights and shadows. Currently, only owners of the most efficient computers can enjoy it

8K - the new PlayStation console is to support 8K resolution

3D Audio - a separate system designed to provide new quality of surround sound, which will allow for greater immersion

SSD - PlayStation 5 will be equipped with the fastest SSD available on the market. This will shorten the loading time of games (up to several times) and allow you to create much larger and detailed worlds, a larger field of view in games and smoother gameplay

backward compatibility - the ability to run games from PS4

Dual Shock 5 - an improved version of the controller with haptics that will replace traditional vibrations. This will allow you to vary the effects - otherwise the pad will behave in a racing game depending on the surface, the reaction to a gunshot or a blow will be different. The second novelty will be adaptive triggers. The L2 / R2 buttons will have different resistance depending on the context of the game

4K UHD optical drive - Sony does not give up traditional discs, which means that you will still be able to use the console as a home entertainment center new

PS5 interface - if new content gets to a given game (e.g. map for an online game or mission to the campaign), we will receive information about it directly from the console menu, without having to start the game

installing games - the player will be able to choose if he wants to install the whole game or only multiplayer or single player campaign. This way, you'll be able to start playing faster and, on the other hand, save disk space.

What will the price of PS5 be?

The PlayStation 4 console went on sale for $ 399. For PlayStation 5, the price will certainly not be lower. According to some sources, the producer may choose exactly the same price. Others suggest that players will have to pay more because $ 499. Much depends on the market situation, as well as the final technical specification. It is possible that it will be even $ 599 or the console will be available in several variants, differing e.g. in SSD capacity.
