Life Tips From Lucifer is a blog written by Larry Ray Palmer. (Hey, that's me!) I'm just a guy like you who's been there and done that. I'm in my mid 40's now so you could say I've seen both sides of the fence. I went from being the young party animal to being the older, calmer version of myself without forgetting how to have fun. I've watched fortunes, friendships and lovers come and go. I've tried to learn from my experiences and find better ways to do things or be a better human as I went along.

Do I have it all figured out? Hell NO! I'm still alive and I'm still going to make mistakes but that's ok. Making mistakes is part of the learning process and, sometimes, those mistakes can lead to some amazing places.

Now, I'm sure a few of you are curious about the name, Lucifer. No, it's not a religious thing or anything like that. It's an endearing nickname and alter ego that I picked up over the years based on a couple of my personality traits. I tend to be good at reading what people desire, sometimes even when they don't know themselves, and I am quite adept at leading them into temptation. (It's a skill that comes in quite handy when you work with the public.)

One of my regular customers made it a point to walk through the door yelling, "Not today, Satan!" as a joking way of telling me he didn't need anything other than what he came in for and that's where the reference came from. Add in the Rolling Stones on the radio playing Sympathy for the Devil and Lucifer has a much nicer ring to it, don't you agree?

So, pleased to meet you. You can just call me Lucifer.
