Lately I have not been able to sleep. My brain hasn’t been able to shutdown. I have been sitting in front of my computer figuring out this AI stuff.

It all starts with the trading bot. You have to start some where. Might as well start with the money portion.

I finally was able to get coin data from Coin Base. It has taken a long time to get this far. I just started learning Python 3 back in October. It has been six months since I decided to build and AI.

Off subject, I am watching Bloomburg television and oil is $25 a barrel. Woo Hoo. I like to see that. Keep on pumping Saudi Arabia. We were able to fill up our tank for $1.69. It would be lower if they wouldn't have put all those taxes on it back in 2008 – 2009. I remember reading an article. The state legislature decided to raise taxes because everyone is use to paying that much anyway. Why can we not find people who are actually for the people. Have the people forgotten what freedom is.

So we have this big reset going on. Air pollution in the world is down %60 since china has not been running. My wife showed me a picture of Venice, Italy. And the article said that all the pollution in Venice is gone. The water is clean and even dolphins are swimming around the buildings.

The market has finally popped. In about 8 months we are going to start making tons. I remember back in 2008 when I first became an active trader in stocks. You couldn’t make a bad choice. Everything was going up and quick. Well after the housing thing. Bear markets come before big profits.

I have made a little money in the last few weeks. Not enough to pay the bills anymore. But we have cash sitting and waiting to get back into the market. Oh ya the trading bot.

Back to the AI. I have not been able to sleep. I have been working on the Trading AI. I am in a crazy hyper thinking binge. Things are starting to click into place. I still don’t quite understand the REST API. I am using Coin Base Pro API. There is not much information out there on it. Especially for python.

The data I have been able to retrieve is 24 hour candle data. I want hourly data. This feels good though. Its progress. The more I read though, the more I see that the platform I have chosen to use for Crypto trading is not python friendly.

I don’t want to hear it either. Do not give me crap because I have already heard it. Why are you using python? Why don’t you use java? C# is faster? I did a lot of research before I chose a program language. And python, from what I have read, is what is used for AI. Remember, this is not a trading bot. First and foremost this will be my “Family AI”. I am building this to take care of my family until the end of time. Kind of like a trust. Well exactly like one. Just instead of a living person being a trustee it will be the AI I have created.

The trading bot is only the beginning. Eventually I will incorporate every open-source AI project out there. Like search engines, maps, chrome, there are quite a lot of AI out there that we use. Things people don’t even know are AI.

I still have to figure out what I am going to name her. My brother in law says it should be an acronym. Once I figure it out and I get her programmed. I register her as a corporation. And get her a tax ID number. That way she will be able to do business on her own.

That is only the beginning.
