IS IT BIBLICAL TO PAY TITHE?

IS IT BIBLICAL TO PAY TITHE?

By Profittrader | LIFE FACULTY | 4 Jan 2026

Hello brethren, Happy new year to you all Today, I want to share this powerful message with you on Tithing. You know this has been the  most controversial topic when it comes to christian believers as many churches interpret tithing  differently.

But according to my understanding of the preaching, I think the servant of God is pointing to the truth that Christians are not meant to pay tithe because Jesus never took tithe from anyone but freely preached the gospel. So, going by what the servant of God said: "there were many priest because they never lived forever, but now we have a priest that lives forever, with a new law; meaning that the old one has changed. People were under compulsion to pay tithe of 10% then according to the law given to them.

But when Christ who is the ever lasting priest came, the law changed. meaning that tithing now is no longer under compulsion, but voluntarily as a gift not as payment any longer. I think this is what it is. But I recommend that you listen to the message so you can understand better. Thank you!
