Birds of the same feathers flock together.

Is a very old saying that has been proven to be true a hundred fold.

Just like how the magnet attracts materials with iron components, a common interest attracts one and more people and become one group. Bottom line is common interest In the case of "Partido Tiyan"/"Stomach Party", they were tide bound by alcohol and food.

The third member of the group is Gil. Gil is the only one alive to date.Daniel and Pedrito died couple years ago. Nowadays Gil seemed to stopped the habit of binge drinking.I guess it comes with the age and the loss of chums with the same interest.

Way back years and years ago, out of the three members of the group, Gil is the only person who is somewhat tolerable. He work as a public servant in the local community. A straight path supposedly, but down the rocky road, he leads a zigzag pattern. What I mean exactly is that, he has a good heart, this I can tell, because the kids are not afraid to talk to him. Unlike Pedrito who has as strong and heavy auro, Gil is somehow approachable and smiling.When he's drunk he walks like a zombie but with a smile on his face.

Only when the other birds are gone that the only remain bird can be free of outside influence.And that is exactly the case for Gil. Gil is now living comfortable with his family. His sons and daughters are now old enough to support themselves and in fact Gil's been lavishly supported.

How can someone get out of the system?How can some change his life. The answer sometimes is not something we would want. In Gil's case, he would never ask for his friends to go. But this was a blessing, a new beginning.For the only way to change the game, is to change the frame.
