Staking: Earn Rewards by Supporting the Liberland Blockchain
Liberland uses a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) system to keep the blockchain decentralized and secure. This means that instead of energy-intensive mining, the blockchain is secured by Validators—people who run full copies of the blockchain. The more copies exist, the more secure the system becomes.
How You Can Earn
Even if you don’t want to be a Validator, you can still earn rewards as a Nominator.
1. Go to www.blockchain.liberland.org.
2. Stake your LLD by selecting a Validator to support.
3. Earn rewards proportional to your stake, as long as your Validator is active.
🔴 Important: If a Validator misbehaves, both they and their Nominators can be penalized. However, no Validator has ever been penalized to date.
How Much Can You Earn?
A Validator earns about 6 LLD per day. At current prices (~$4.20 per LLD), that’s around $700 per month—more than the minimum wage in Serbia. And it’s almost completely passive income!
If you prefer to diversify or staking isn’t for you, there’s another option: Liquidity Pool (LP) Staking.
Liquidity Pool (LP) Staking: Earn from Decentralized Trading
Since we have bridged LLD to Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL), we need liquidity pools (LPs) to ensure smooth trading. This is how decentralized exchanges work—users provide liquidity to enable trading and earn a share of transaction fees.
How It Works
• You deposit LLD along with another currency (ETH, SOL, or USDT) into a liquidity pool.
• Traders use this liquidity, and you earn a share of their transaction fees.
• Your profit comes from high trading volume and stable price ratios.
What’s the Risk?
Liquidity pools always involve two currencies. If their prices change dramatically, the algorithm may sell the more valuable currency for the less valuable one. If you withdraw during a bad price shift, you could lose money.
However, we only use stable and reputable coins like ETH, SOL, and USDT to minimize risk. Since USDT is a stablecoin, its value should always remain steady.
How Much Can You Earn?
LP staking rewards vary depending on trading activity. Some days, the profits can be extraordinary.
