today I am telling you about Karlsen "KLS" coin, a new crypto that can be mined with its own native protocol, Karlsenhash, and that is generating a lot of interest these days as it is very profitable for mining.
KLS was born as a fork of Kaspa, a crypto that has been much talked about in recent months and has created high expectations among miners.
"Karlsen Network is a community-driven, ASIC-resistant fork of the Kaspa coin. It focuses on decentralization by supporting small miners and plans to integrate token functionality similar to ERC-20. Currently KLS does not have a true "user friendly" wallet, but a guarded wallet on a pc, with a command line interface. This, however, allows one to securely generate a pripripriprio address and use it for mining.
In my personal I started mining KLS a few days ago, after following a few tutorials online, or rather on Youtube, to configure the wallet and to prepare the "flight sheet" you Hiveos.
My mini rig, at the moment composed of only 2 gpu's, that is 2 RTX 4070's (in the past I had gone up to 8, but then I slowly started to reduce the size of the miner) and, according to Hashrate.no, I can generate, for each GPU; up to $1.29 per day net (on the 24 hour projection).
As I mentioned earlier, KLS is not currently tradable, but it is listed on a few sites, such as Coinprika (https://coinpaprika.com/it/coin/kls-karlsen/)
My miner, right now, is mining KLS, with a hash of 1499 Mh/s and an average GPU consumption of 109 Watts (Hashrate indicated 106, so we are close) using LolMiner 1.78 (SRBMiner and Rigel Miner are also available for mining).
As a Pool I use Herominers, where the calculator indicates that with my power I can, theoretically, mine up to 34 KLS per day, for a counter value of $5.42.
The first day I mined, unfortunately, with SRBMiner and a power of about 2.2 GH/s, the proceeds were 142 KLS. Today, about 3 days later, it has drastically dropped due to the soaring growth of miners.
Do I believe in this project? can it be the new Kaspa? Have we discovered a miraculous source of money? I can't answer that. What I can say is that, seeing what has happened with the Kaspa coin, of which Karlsen is a "fork," there is enough to hope that it can grow, very much and quickly... otherwise I will have (we will have, all miners involved) lost some time.
