Many religions proclaim that life is a divine gift and that no human being has the right to take a life, not even one's own, that is, homicide and suicide are sins of almost the same magnitude.
However, these same religions condemn their practitioners to live a life of suffering and pain because of that dogma.
In many situations a pious death is preferable to a life that is a torture, and in these cases, why should the decision and motivation of a person who would rather die be questioned?
Who has the absolute truth about good, evil, sin or hell?
Therefore, only everyone should decide whether he prefers to live or die, without fear of what society, relatives or friends will say.
