Understanding the causes of cancer! Let's live happy & healthy!

Dear Friend,

We have all received our bodies and lives from the chromosomes contributed by our mother and father.
These chromosomes contain genes that govern many things, including
-our skin color,
-the size of our nose,
-the color of our eyes' irises,
-our height,
-our body type,
-the folds of our brain,
-and our gender.

We call these genes.

Cells combine to form tissues. The combination of tissues creates organs.
In this state, there are three important rules that cells in the body follow.

The first rule:
Cells should only be created at the rate required for the specific tissue.

The second rule:
When a cell grows and comes into contact with a neighboring cell, its growth should automatically stop.

The third rule:
Once its lifespan is over, it should self-destruct, thereby making way for the next cell to form.
If the cells in a particular area disregard these three rules, we call it "cancer."

Yes... in the area where cancer occurs,
-cells multiply excessively,
-cells grow excessively in size,
- and they forget or refuse to self-destruct and undergo recycling, leading to uncontrolled growth.

The genes responsible for keeping cells under control or allowing them to grow uncontrollably are present within us. Three important types of these genes are primarily associated with cancer. They are:

1. Oncogenes - Genes that cause cancer
2. Tumor suppressor genes
3. Genes that repair and manage DNA

Of the three mentioned above,
Oncogenes remain dormant like a red chip, not emerging until their time comes. But if our body is continuously exposed to cancer-causing agents,
it will emerge as a city with a red chip (a ticking time bomb).
Tumor suppressor genes – if they continuously work overtime and a situation arises where cancer develops anywhere in the body, they go there, calmly negotiate, and suppress the monster from coming out.
Thirdly, the DNA repair gene continuously troubleshoots and repairs the problems that occur in our genes.
The reason for cancer is that these three types of genes do not perform their respective functions properly and malfunction.

As we age,
just as the vehicles we buy wear out,
similarly, our body and the genes that repair the DNA within it undergo wear and tear, and problematic genes emerge.
Because of this,
cancers mostly occur in the elderly.

Next,
like waking someone who was sleeping,
the things that provoke and bring out the cancer-causing genes that are quietly sleeping
are called "carcinogens" (cancer-causing agents).
- Cigarettes / Tobacco
- Alcohol
- Asbestos
- Metals like arsenic
- Nuclear radiation
- X-rays
- Chemical additives added for food color and flavor
- Air pollution
- Water pollution
- Excessive stress
- Lack of sleep

These are just a few of the many known carcinogens.
We are constantly exposing ourselves to the above,
knowingly or unknowingly.
Because of this, changes occur in our genes, increasing the likelihood of developing cancer. Besides these,
infections from microorganisms such as:
Papillomavirus - Cervical cancer
Hepatitis B & C - Liver cancer
Helicobacter pylori bacteria - Stomach cancer
can also cause cancer.
How can we prevent cancer?
We cannot know in detail what genes we have,
and which of them cause or do not cause cancer.
However, if any of our previous generations have suffered from cancer,
there is a possibility that those genes have been passed on to us.
Therefore, we should be a little more cautious than others.

We should avoid cancer-causing factors such as tobacco/cigarettes/alcohol.
We should give importance to:
-Unadulterated, nutritious food
-Physical exercise
-Good sleep, which helps maintain a healthy weight
- Reducing stress
- Vaccinations against Papillomavirus and Hepatitis viruses can be obtained.

If cancer is detected in its early stages, it can be treated effectively and completely cured.
Some important symptoms of cancer:
- Weight loss
- Fatigue
- Body pain
- Non-healing sores
- Blood in phlegm, stool, or urine

If you experience these symptoms, you should immediately consult a doctor and seek treatment.
I repeat,
Do not despair thinking that cancer means the end of life.
Many people among us have overcome cancer through treatment and are living as examples.

Therefore,
Let's prevent cancer
Let's detect the disease without delay by recognizing the symptoms
Let's get treatment immediately
Let's support those who have cancer.

Let's live a healthy life!
