In life, some times, even without a proper preparation and efforts, some good things would happen all of a sudden.

Have you ever realised and experienced this in your life?

Many times this happened to me as well. 

Well, I share an interesting experience that happened. 

Recently, I was travelling in an Air India flight and there were only 2 of us in the entire Business Class of that flight.   After some time, he smiled at me and I smiled back.   Then we started talking. A very normal conversation initially.   Where are you travelling…   What kind of work do you do… how often do you travel… the usual.   A little later,then I realised he was the VP Marketing of a leading pharma company here.   And then the conversation became really interesting.   We started talking about leadership, pressure on sales teams, younger employees, attention spans, managers struggling to motivate people, how difficult leadership is becoming these days and many such things.   It didn’t feel like a business conversation at all. Just two people having a hearty conversation during a journey.   At one point he casually asked me, “Siva, why don’t you do a program for our Sales Managers?”    That one conversation has now become a leadership program we are designing for their organisation.   Life works strangely sometimes.   Not every opportunity comes from networking events, sales pitches or presentations.   Some come from simple human conversations when you are not trying too hard.   Life is quite interesting... isn't it with networking initiatives and the fruits of networking!
