Bill Gates, the Millionaire and one of the co-founders of the Microsoft in a recent Redditt’s Ask Me Anything (AMA) event, his 11th event in AMA, had answered on many topics before the various questions that were raised before him.

When he was asked about his preference on AI, Web3 and metaverse, he said that he would prefer Artificial Intelligence – AI over the other alternative developments such as Web 3.0 and the metaverse.

Bill Gates added that Artificial Intelligence is a big one. He didn’t think Web3 was that big or the metaverse stuff alone was such revolutionary but he amazed with the AI technology is quite revolutionary. But he admired the metaverse transformation from 2D to 3D model. 

He further added that he was quite impressed with the rate of improvement in these AIs. He thought that the AI will have a huge impact.

Even though Bill Gates is no longer connected to Microsoft at present and he is concentrating his attention more into health and vaccines, Microsoft is keen to invest in AI sector. Microsoft is said to be in eyeing of an additional investment of $10 billion in Open AI, the company behind the popular Chatgpt AI bot, that would value the company at $29 billion. With this investment, Microsoft will have 49% of the shares of Open AI.

Of course, Bill Gates is not a great admirer of cryptocurrencies and the Non-Fungible Tokens. He said an earlier interview that one should not probably watch out if he/she had less money than Elon Musk. He expressed last year (2022) that the Crypto Currencies and the Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs) were 100% based on greater fool theory and even joked that the NFTs are expensive digital images of monkeys. He also categorically admitted that he was not involved in Crypto trades.
