The following short, hopefully funny, horrific nightmare stories... are generated from the nightmares of our very own Igor at Publish0x (maybe), and something that came to mind during a comment - So without further ado, I introduce to you: Igors' Nightmares...
Igors' Nightmares... It has a little ring to it don't you think? I couldn't sleep in the sweltering heat (Refer to Goa Article), and so decided I would throw together a few sketches and pop the images into some test AI software... What did I manage to not-so-dream up? If you are a bit of a Scaredy Cat... A bit 'hide behind the sofa'... You might want to run away now, as we about to freak even Richard Burton out!

#1 When Curtains Turn
It was a windy and rainy night, Igor was staring out of his bedroom window when he saw the curtains move, before his eyes they started turning into a scary floaty cloaked figure. The figure slowly made its way towards him, edging ever closer with each blink of an eye - its face covered in shadows. Igor tried to scream, but no sound came out of his mouth. He tried to run, but his foot was stuck somehow wedged into his now very mis-shaped bed... Igor shuddered and looked up.
The figure stooped and swayed as it floated effortlesses towards Igor. The terrifying figure reached out its hand... Igor gulped and thought about... well nothing much, as just as Igor was about to think - he spontaneously screamed a terrible scream... and Igor woke up, gasping for air and trembling.
"Ah just a dream" Igor thought... "Or was it?" He thought further... as he looked at his bedroom curtains blowing in the wind.
#2 The Wall's Have Eye's
Igor was lay staring at the ceiling in bed, when he heard a rattling coming from his closet. He slowly got out of bed, and slowly crept towards the closet which was by now a thunderous knocking sound filling the room.
Igor bravely yanked open the closet door and suddenly... he found himself walking down a dark alleyway where he saw that the walls had eyes... Many eyes... Yikes!!! Hundreds of eyes were staring at him, unblinking, occasionally rolling a glance at Igor.
Startled and now afraid Igor tried to run, but the walls started closing in on him, slowly crushing him... A face twisted and horrible started to ooze from the wall in front of him...
Suddenly without warning a tap on his shoulder. Before he could look behind him... Igor woke up, gasping for breath, sweating... "That dream was too real".
#3 Can I Help you Sir?
Igor was walking down the street in what turned out to be quite a foggy morning. He had just woke up and decided he needed to visit the store... for milk... because milk is brilliant you see... When out of nowhere a little old grotesque woman jumped from around a dark corner, and in a gravel tone she asked him for directions. Suddenly, her face contorted into a hideous grin and she grabbed his hand, trying to pull Igor closer. Igor tried to run, he tried to release her grip... To his horror she wouldn't let go of his hand... she pushed her face against his, sniffing Igors' neck... Quickly she stepped back and gave Igor a frightening stare. She said: "Can I Help you Sir?
Igor jumped back and suddenly found himself awake in bed... he had woken up feeling nauseous, drenched in sweat, feeling as though the old woman was still holding onto him... he checked under his bed... "Ah just a dream".
#4 The Nun
Igor found himself walking alone down a dark, deserted hallway... He found this strange since he is at home, usually his dog Colin would be lay around. He stopped, hairs on the back of his neck tingled... he shivered not wanting to look behind as he heard the sound of footsteps approaching... shuffling. He braced himself and bravely turned around to find a peaceful looking nun, her face hidden beneath her habit. She pulled back her veil to reveal an ungodly sight. Igor nearly pooped in his pants right there and then - he ran as fast as he could. She quickly started following him, her now stomping footsteps echoing through the hallway. Faster and faster Igor walked, but she wouldn't stop. Suddenly and all snarling, and drooling she lunged at him... all teeth!
Igor woke up, drenched in sweat. His heart pounding... he looked down to see Colin one of his dogs at his feet... "What's that smell? COLIN!" - It had all been a dream but Igor had slept through Colins' walk time... Colin had pooped.
#5 Wilfred
Igor was lay in his living room on the sofa watching TV, when he suddenly saw the face of Wilfred Scary Face, the villain from his favorite horror movie staring through his window... As per movies Wilfred's face was twisted into a grotesque expression and his eyes were piercing. Igor rubbed his eyes thinking that it is ALL a trick of his mind - tried to change the channel, but the TV wouldn't respond.
Wilfred had moved from the window and had now started crawling out of the TV screen, his hands reaching out to grab Igor... slobbering and mumbling.. "Wilfred NOOOOO!"
It was then a loud bark startled Igor and he woke up, screaming... Colin - Igors' dog - was sat with his leash in his mouth in front of the TV looking to go for his walk... My word... "it had all been another dream Colin" said Igor.
#6 The Mother (Mom)
Igor was visiting his parents' house for the day and remembered that he had left his bag of tools in the basement last time he was here. He went to the basement to go grab his bag, when suddenly, he heard his mom's voice calling his name from the top of the stairs. But when he looked up, his mother was standing right in front of him, her eyes red and her face twisted into a grotesque expression... Igor screamed a terrifying scream. Igor tried to run, but as it happens a lot in dreams... his legs wouldn't move.
Igor grabbed his legs and tried to get them to move... SPLASH from nowhere cold water hits Igor flat in the face... It was his mother... "you were out cold snoring" she stated - Drenched and now woken up, Igor was in a cold sweat, realizing it was just a nightmare... he looked at his mom and asked; "What's for dinner?"... She jokingly replied... "Hahaha why you my dear of course!"
#7 Brother Dave
Igor had been very snoozy on his way to visit an old friend Brother Dave from the Monastery - Dave would produce some of the best Monks Wine around... walking taking in the sights, Igor found himself out of the lush grounds and in the grey and imposing monastery, walking down a dark corridor.
It was then he saw his friend Brother Dave standing in front of him, his eyes crazed and his mouth frothing... "Dave your hair has grown and... what? Why are you dressed for Halloween?" Dave did not respond... Instead...
Brother Dave lunged at Igor, licking at his face with a huge tongue, and trying to drag him into a side room. Igor tried to fight back, but he was far too weak... Dave was much bigger and stronger than Igor... The Brother kept on attacking... Igor cowered in the corner... Brother Dave was coming closer and closer until...
Igor woke up, screaming, lunging forward scrambling to get away from... "What in the?" Colin his faithful dog had pooped on the spot from the fear... Looking apologetically at his pooch, Igor shuddered; "Oh my gosh Colin... sorry, it was just a dream".
