Starting up a website is a must for almost every type of business... Even the ladies, gents and gender neutral of the night have webpages in some countries - but that is not the reason you dropped by... Web page design, content and, AND grammar is the subject.
The saying goes that first impressions last. For me that is generally the case when I hit a website. So when I stumble across a website that is maybe fantastic looking graphically, but absolutely piss poor with spelling and grammar - I tend to leave... I may pop back to see if things got corrected. If the website fails again, then this is a lazy and terrible webmaster - on numerous occasions I have tried to contact developers and webmasters (two contradictions in my opinion) but if there is no reply... FAIL!
Look I am also guilty of throwing together an article or two and serving you guys up with a toxic soup of grammar and spelling mistakes... I do try to proof read, I do honestly... I do try to correct.
An example is the new Ace Faucet, which I have not joined and am unlikely to... Not yet, a but of trust is needed - this is why I will present the forthcoming image with hope the webmaster will correct and maybe a link will become available here, also the faucet could aqcuire a new member to test the faucet out. See if you can spot the error... Hint.. I might go to buy some gold stuff... Lol.
So just a heads up to those creating websites... Please check your spelling and grammar before serving on your victims... As I said - First impressions last.
