This is going to be a personal but fcuk it.
A few months ago, shortly after my break-up with my former partner, we shall call this person UX Designer, I met someone else, we shall call this person Recently Divorced.
I met Recently Divorced in October and a few months later, in January, we started dating.
Like everything else in life, things went well until they didn't.
It ended, after a short but intense trajectory, and that was that.
The thing is, unlike me and UX Designer, Recently Divorced and I had indeed a lot in common. We especially had beer in common.
This piece of information will become relevant in two minutes.
I didn't want it to end, but it did, and I was getting over it.
But, like I said, Recently Divorced and I shared similar interests and tended to frequent the same places, which is why one day, out of the blue, Instagram had a 'SPONSORED' post in my feed for me.
The sponsored post in question was a promotional post for a new bar/pub in town, which, ordinarily, really is my jam.
Except... said post had a picture of Recently Divorced having a drink as the main photograph in the gallery.
I'm certainly glad the people who run the place feel that Recently Divorced is attractive enough to star in a photograph that's used as a featured image for a 10-picture gallery for a post that'll be sponsored... but still.
It kinda did feel like insult to injury.
Flipping heck.
Sorry, regular crypto service shall me resumed shortly.
