I've been using Solana Seeker since taking delivery back in August and, for the most part, I've used it as a backup phone.
So far, I found a few things I like, and a few things I don't like. And one thing it does a little better than my iPhone.
Seeker runs on Android, which is Google, which makes most Google apps a little better, including Google News, which is quite useful if, like me, you're constantly hunting for good content.
No game-changing features so far though.
Until yesterday.
The thing is, Turkish Airlines may be the airline that flies to the most countries in the world, but its app is a disaster. I checked myself in for my flight, and the app really didn't work.
I tried a thousand different ways but couldn't for the life of me figure out a way to add my boarding pass to my Apple Wallet.
So I figured, 'ok, I got an Android too, let's try that way'.
I managed mainly because, amazingly, Android apparently allows you take a screenshot of your boarding pass and automatically add that to Google Wallet.
As far as I'm aware that doesn't work on Apple. A screenshot's a screenshot. But somehow Android turns that into a usable Google Wallet-ready boarding pass.
So, pretty neat.
