The Arbitrum Foundation made a huge transaction with Coinbase today.

In a very interesting note to learn from the Spot on Chain report that the Arbitrum Foundation has used multi-signature address (0xd6c...) and deposited 15 million ARB token to the worth of $ 27.5 million to Coinbase today at the price of 1.83 USD/ARB.

Shortly after this deposit, 14.9 million ARB token were withdrawn through six newly created wallets from Coinbase. 

ARB is the utility token of Arbitrum. Arbitrum is a notable crypto network, designed as a scalability solution for the Ethereum blockchain. As a layer 2 protocol that aims to make Ethereum (ETH) transactions ensures faster and more affordable, thus increasing the network's scalability.

It is a Ethereum layer-2 network. ARB functions as the primary governance token of the Arbitrum DAO- as holders may create and vote on governance proposals.

ARB Coin currently trades at USD 1.88, a higher of 3.19% from yesterday. 

The Alt Time High of ARB is USD 2.4 which was recorded 18 days ago on Jan 12, 2024 and currently trading 21.78% lower to the ATH.

We may classify this transaction as Over the Counter (OTC) Transactions. This usually happens to meet the specific needs of the institutional organisations that happens outside the public exchanges.
