Have you ever thought of this on what is the power of quality research?
Whether we consider the stocks currently visible in the market or those we already hold in our portfolios, there is a very high probability that, in the times to come, they will inevitably transform into either "multi-baggers" (stocks that yield manifold returns) or "capital losers" (stocks that result in significant losses).
Regardless of whether we choose to buy a company's stock or not, that stock is bound to undergo changes in the future; there is absolutely no altering this fact.
The mere fact that we did not purchase a stock does not mean the company will cease to grow or that its share price will fail to rise.
Similarly, our decision not to buy a stock does not prevent that company's shares from plummeting in value or incurring losses.
However, it is only if we have actually purchased a stock that we can reap the benefits of its growth and price appreciation; if we have not bought it, we can merely stand by and watch—as spectators—while the company grows and its share price climbs.
Investing in the stock market is much like taking a bus journey: you can only proceed with the journey if you actually board the bus and take a seat.
Therefore, you can reach your intended destination only if you correctly identify and select the right bus; otherwise, the bus you end up boarding is almost certain to lead you into an accident.
This implies that you can achieve your objectives only by choosing the specific bus that is heading in the direction of your goals.
Five or ten years from now—on that future date—no stock will suddenly materialize out of thin air to stand before you as a ready-made "multi-bagger."
Instead, it is a select few among the very stocks currently visible right before our eyes in the stock market that will eventually evolve into multi-baggers in the years to come.
This is an undeniable truth within the realm of the stock market.
While all the vehicles we see before us may indeed be buses, not every single one of them is heading toward our specific destination; only a select few are actually traveling in the direction of our goal.
This means that the very bus leading toward our destination is, in fact, right there before our eyes.
Identifying and selecting the precise bus that aligns with our specific destination—that is the true power and benefit of conducting thorough, quality research. Whether we choose to buy them or not, many stocks are bound to transform into multi-baggers in the times to come; however, those multi-bagger returns will become *yours* only if you have actually invested in them.
Drawing upon my 11 years of experience in the stock market—and speaking as one of the few who have successfully mastered this domain—I state this as a seasoned analyst.
For our lives to unfold in a truly magnificent manner, no miracles are required.
It is sufficient simply to ensure that the decisions we make are the right ones.
Focus on the company itself and the business it conducts. Conduct thorough research; if you identify a fundamentally sound company engaged in an excellent line of business, simply invest in it when it is available at an attractive valuation, and then wait patiently. That is all that is required.
In other words, it is akin to selecting the right bus from among the options before you, and then simply remaining seated until that bus reaches your intended destination.
Keep just one thing in mind: whether you choose to board it or not, a correct bus will inevitably proceed toward its destination.
You, too, will reach that destination only if you are a passenger on that bus; otherwise, the bus alone will reach the goal, while you remain behind.
Conversely, the same principle applies to a wrong bus: whether you choose to board it or not, it is bound to end in a crash.
