Dear Friends,
Ever since the US-Israel-Iran war has taken place from March 2026, there has been continuously a jerk and uncertainty has found in our financial markets.
The Financial Markets sharply reacts to each and every move by the US President Trump's announcements.
Now, the war is heading for a Ceasefire.
It has been the wide talk everywhere.
The logic behind is.
1) If Iran formally announce that it opened the Strait of Hormuz, even though it was never closed before the war, Trump's ego will be neutralised; He would declare "Victory! Victory!" and rush back to his golf course.
In reality, however, this would not constitute a victory for Trump indeed, as the strait was already open. Iran might simply allow Trump to claim victory but purely as a theoretical gesture to provide him with some peace of mind. The rest of the world, of course, would know that it is no true victory.
Consequently, a ceasefire would take effect, and the attacks on Iran would end.
2) Iran argues that the United States cannot be a trusted nation. It points out that a similar ceasefire was announced in Gaza as well but the U.S. continues to launch strikes whenever it deems necessary.
This is true as well. However, rather than going for outright rejecting a ceasefire on those grounds, Iran could invite other nations including India, China, and European powers to be effectively participate in the ceasefire agreement alongside with the current participating partners like Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt.
Even now, the U.S. continues to drop bombs on Iran's important sites. There remains a possibility that they might continue to do so even after a ceasefire officially would come into effect.
However, for securing a break, even it is a temporary one, that is certainly preferable to enduring a continuous bombardment. It would also help Iran with the opportunity to prepare itself in various other aspects.
Even if the United States acts in an untrustworthy manner, the avenues of diplomacy and statecraft never truly reach a dead end.
It is far wiser to find a complete solution of ceasefire through sheer intelligent diplomacy and with structured negotiations.
(3) Reports are currently surfacing regarding a proposed 45 day of ceasefire. It appears that Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt are taking the lead in facilitating this initiative. Iran should certainly seize this opportunity.
Trump is clearly intent on finding a way, even any way to bring this conflict to an end and to make his exit.
By leveraging this pressure, Iran can achieve its own objectives; subsequently as mentioned earlier if it tosses Trump a "paper victory" as a concession, the war will likely come to a close.
In the long run such an outcome would be beneficial for both the nation of Iran and its people.
