Scams of Fake Elon Musk's distributing Bitcoin, ETH have grown during 2020

A video of Elon Musk organizing a Bitcoin offering can be viewed on various YouTube accounts, according to a recent Reddit publication. These broadcasts are, of course, conducted by bad actors who exploit the SpaceX brand to suck coins from credulous users.
They include some embedded images from the historic Falcon 9 launch, as well as links to the scammers' website and Bitcoin addresses.
Easy money
After occupying Twitter, asset-sharing scams involving key personalities made YouTube their new breeding ground. Although the streaming giant takes action to remove fraudulent videos from its platform, they continue to multiply like heads in a hydra.
At the time of this writing, two of the videos currently broadcast by SpaceX were being watched by approximately 23,200 users.
Many of them fall into the trap and send money to scammers, judging by the number of coins received by the promoted Bitcoin addresses. One address managed to pocket more than $ 10,221 in an hour.
Ripple sues YouTube
A similar scam with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates was circulating on YouTube after hackers hijacked dozens of accounts in March.
Ripple's CEO Brad Garlinghouse was also featured in several donation scams. In April, he told Fortune about personally receiving death threats from innocent victims.
