Two days ago, I received the second dose of the Pfizer COVID vaccine. I noted that later in the evening, I didn't feel any changes. The next morning, however, I did feel a bit sluggish. Something that I should note was that I didn't sleep particularly well and woke up in the middle of the night. How much of my sluggishness attributed to bad sleep versus the vaccine, I'm not sure. Fortunately, I did not get a fever.
My workplace automatically gave me a day off, so I was able to enjoy my day kicking back and playing some video games. Honestly, even though I felt a bit tired, I think I could've worked and still be fine. I did feel drowsy to the point that I took a nap in the afternoon, but otherwise, I was fine.
Today, I went to work and I still felt a bit tired, but I managed to get through the day just fine. I did feel some aches, but I was able to tolerate them. As soon as I returned home, I took a nap and now, I feel pretty much normal.
Some of my co-workers also had their second vaccine at around the time I received mine. They told me that by the next day, they were pretty much out of it. On top of that, a few had a fever. I would say that relatively, I came out unscathed. Did I feel icky? Yes, but not to the point where I was bedridden.
