Hello all crypto and decentralized enthusiasts. And Welcome again to my multi-part blog on crypto and decentralization and also my solutions to accessing crypto-currency and such.
Okay So i plan on discussing the methods i had before some unfortunate things happened to me and then i will cover the solutions i use to this day to actively engage in the crypto space with no limitations.
So First i will discuss Paxful.com
*I AM NOT GETTING PAID, INFLUENCED, OR COERCED BY ANY SITES I REFERENCE TOO. I AM SIMPLY WRITING ABOUT MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCES IN THE HOPES IT MAY SAVE SOMEONE A LOT OF UNNEEDED HEADACHES DOWN THE LINE*
Paxful.com is, in my eyes, one of the most versatile and fastest way to produce funds though trading and it takes almost nothing. The downside is their customer service which can take days and even weeks sometimes for them to aid you in anyway.
I will first cover the landing page.
So the landing page, the fruits of what can be of any company. Paxful does a good job on design and ease on the eyes.
As you can see Their is a method to buy, sell, and even sellxchange (your buying a different cryptocurrency for btc)
The Buying/Selling platform is one of the most versatile (by that i simply mean they have the most options for how to buy/sell bitcoins)
Now before i proceed i must inform my readers that by buying and selling i do mean by p2p (peer-to-peer). This is a p2p platform.
So paxful isn't a direct holder of bitcoins. You open trades with people around the globe and simply use paxful as a hub.
The Buy/Sell processes can seriously fluctuate from anywhere from 5 sec. to 48 hrs. depends if the other party is actively going to participate in the trade.
*Now keep in mind paxful does let you see when they were last active along with the users details in trade information, BUT that doesnt mean they will respond to your specific trade. Also with Buying btc as the option to open, you can cancel the trade at any given moment, BUT when you sell bitcoins you either have to wait till the party your selling to cancels the trade first or until the trade expires (i was locked into a sell trade for 48 hrs. no pun intended)*
Paxful does make the buy/sell process extremely easy and quick. with so many methods and a platform to transact on.
Now real quick i will explain the how-to's,
Landing page
Click on Create Account...
You Fill out the needed spaces and boxes and i believe they send you a registration email,
you verify yourself and make sure you do not pass the five attempts when you KYC verify otherwise it could take
a while for support to help you.
and Bingo,
You a full-fledged Paxful Trader now.
Now i will discuss a method i used to use for paxful.
The Abstract of it was
1. Purchasing Bitcoins through a funding source when the platform is showing good rates.
(the versatility of payment source allows the prices to fluctuate nicely.)
2. The Bitcoins purchased will go directly to your wallet instantly when trade is completed
3. Now taking those bitcoins you purchased at, lets just say, 90% of your amount you funded (you use 100 USD you receive 90 USD in Bitcoins)
4. Go on over to the Sell side of paxful.com
5.Depending on your own receiving payment method you can expect a return of 40 % at times. (90 USD you spent, you sell for 126 USD)
6. Pat yourself on back for literally making 26 Dollars.
7. Sounds easy right? It is When the buying and selling platform is active. So basically what im saying is the stated method is not guaranteed to work for you. As i stated that was when i was on paxful which was many moons ago. Could be or not i really couldnt tell you due to me still being banned.
So.....
I will personally state this.
I would honestly give a limb to be able to trade on their with the rates i used to deal with.
For those that dont know,
I stated in my introductory post that i am currently banned from paxful.com due to my account being hacked and my information getting banned so i can no longer have a relation with paxful as a whole.
Its a great place to start and get your feet wet
But as with all things pertaining any value, please be careful and trust no one but the numbers when it comes online. You dont lose nothing being too careful online especially.
