Hi all!
Time to summarize 2021 – and look ahead to a presperous 2022! I will bring out my crystal ball when setting my goals for next year below 😊
This year my crypto investments are up 4,4x in total. My cryptoportfolio outperformed the average crypto market (currently up 2,9x) – but the results could have been even better with higher risk and smaller coins. But on average I am OK with how my investments played out. I have considered participating in IDOs but to me it seems too difficult to know what IDO to choose and also how to do it with all white listing etc… Guidance is very much appreciated!
Current investments
For 2022 I want to propel my investments even further – and take some more risk for possible higher returns!
A significant holding of my portfolio are some of the large cap coins:
- ETH – largest, including staking
- SOL
- Matic
- Crypto.com
- Fantom
- Avax

I expect them to continue to be a large holding of mine also during 2022.
Some metaverse coins are also in my portfolio (Axie, Decentraland, Gala) but it is really difficult to know which ones of play-to-earn coins that will outperform its competitors – I would love to find a webpage where I can track the user adoption of the crypto games as the coin price will likely increase with more players. If you know a good way to track this, please feel free to advise me! J
I am also invested in a masternode rental program, by YieldNodes. This has given me stable income of on average 10% per month so this will hopefully continue during 2022.
Sorare, the crypto based fantasy soccer game where users manage their own football team, is another part that I consider as investment (for free card use me as referral. It is fun to play, and money can be made from both holding player cards and by participanting in tournaments.
And I have recently invested in staking with some crazy APY, some that will continue into 2002.
- Wonderland – 82 000 % APY (Wonderland)
- Spartacus - 272 000 % APY (Spartacus)
- Jade - 8 000 000 % APY (Jade Protocol)
The billion dollar question is to know when to get out of these high APY stakings! One thing is clear – the earlier you invest in these crazy-APYs, the longer you can hold on to the investment.
I came across this page – RugDoc, which seems to analyze and give projects some kind of quality stamp. Hopefully useful when selecting the right APY-craze in the APY-djungle!
So what can I hope for during 2022?
- Masternode rental program: +280% based on 2021 – with starting point of 25 000 USD this should give me70 000 USD end of 2022 (assuming 9% per month, componding)
- Crazy APYs investments: I could loose it all or make crazy returns. I shoot for 10 000 %, taking the APY and staked coin price development in consideration. With starting point of 1 000 USD this should give me 10 000 USD during 2022. Call me crazy 😊
- Large and small coin investments: A good thing about the down market right now is that it should be a significant upside 2022! So how about 200% up from these levels, ending up with 60 000 USD?
- Sorare: Considering it is the World Soccer Cup next year the interest for Sorare should increase – so more players with higher player card values will hopefully follow (if you want to try out Sorare and have a free player card – use sorare.com/r/chrisplayer)
I start off 2022 with a total of roughly 50 000 USD (current value) in my crypto investments. If I would have a similar successful year as 2021 with 4x I should end up with 200 000 USD, which would be amazing! Following my predictions above, based on my fantastic homemade crystal bowl, I should end up with 140 000 USD…
