A few days ago I had to do a blood exam. It was a cloudy and rainy day.
I went to the lab, waited on till they called my number, then when the balcony woman asked for my id and exams I had to take, I gave to her.
All ok till now.
That's when she gave me a paper to fill in with my signature.
I don't remember the full content exactly, but had something to do with "using my personal data to research", and "if I agree with that".
I didn't think much about it at the time. Just wanted my exams.
Paper signed. Blood collected.
After a few days, I thought about it And did some research. First, I discovered that we don't have rights to own our own DNA. Second, I've found that company's that produce medications based on DNA own patents worthing ranging from hundred thousands from millions dollars.
Now, think about it. They are mapping the DNA from all population just to sell medication back to us.
(This is just speculation)
Have a thought...
