Educational institutions make us believe these:
1 . **Books are everything.**
Most people have a habit of referring to books for each and every solution.
But if you are looking for a real solution, refer to your own actions, not books. Spend some time understanding your own self rather than other's version in books.
2 . **You cannot gain knowledge without a teacher.**
If you have the zeal to learn, you can learn from each and everything under the sun. A teacher is just one of the various sources present.
3 . **You need to complete the course within the timeline.**
Everyone learns at their own pace, why is everyone expected to complete the course within a fixed timeline, 2 years, 3 years or 4years course. And, if you don't complete the course in time, you are labelled as slow learners, how justified is that?
4 . "Important Topics" are very important.**
During school/college days, a lot of stress is given on "Important Topics". Does life happens to us in form of "Important Topics"? Students are being prepared for exams and not for their real-life situations.
5 . **You need a certificate to progress through the career.**
You make your career, not certificates. You know who you are, the certificate is just a reflection of what other's think of who you are.
6 . **You will get a lot of Knowledge here**.
You need experience and not just knowledge. Only the subject knowledge is not enough.
Everything has its pros & cons but if you are still continuing with something which isn't resonating with you, think again.
Don't accept the things as it is, it is not necessary that if everyone is doing, you have to do that too.
