It's time for the 4th edition of "My Moon Bags" series and this time I'll talk about my favourite video sharing platform called Dtube and about it's native token DTC.
What's Dtube?
Dtube is a decentralized community powered video sharing platform where users vote actually matters. Voting a video on Dtube earns the content creator DTC , Dtube's native coin.
DTC is the token powering the economy behind Dtube and it's super-important to hold some if you are planning on using Dtube on a daily basis.
The more DTC you hold, the more voting power you generate and more VP equals to more curation rewards when you are either sharing content or upvoting other videos.
1 DTC generates +1 unit of VP per hour. You can either spend all your VP in one big vote or throw more smaller votes in different videos.

My DTC Earnings
I've earned more than 1000 DTC since Dtube's Main-net launch in Octomber and this equals to around $260 with today's prices.

Claimable DTC : 433.93
Pending DTC : 13.92
In case you are wondering, I could easily claim my "Claimable" Rewards with just a few clicks but doing so will no longer allow me to earn from my videos. You can earn DTC for your last year's video if someone upvotes it as long as you didn't claim your rewards for that specific video.
Conclusion
Dtube is my go-to platform when it comes to sharing video content and I have no plans of quitting Dtube anytime soon. Censorship is taking place in all centralized social media platforms and Dtube (along with LBRY) is in my opinion the best decentralized alternative for video content creators.
