I'm sure most of you are experiencing some crazy lags and keep getting annoying "Connection Failed" or "Please wait a bit" messages when you're trying to play Axie Infinity the past few days, right?
Worry not, there's nothing wrong with the game. It's just that Axie has gained SO MUCH traction the past few weeks and so many new people started playing it's hard for the Axie servers to keep up.
After a ton of research I found a solution to overcome all these lags and trust me it works like a charm. All you have to do is to "arm' yourself with patience and follow my instructions.
Why Can't I Play?
Due to server overload, Axie servers can't update our in-game information such as "SLP Earned", "Daily Quest Battles Won" etc. instantly. If our in-game information aren't updated then we can't join a next game.
Most people click on "Play" right after they log in to their Axie Account or right after they finished playing a game and that's why they can't play. Since everything's running slow you MUST give the game some time to update your account's info.
Solution
Luckily, there are 3 steps you can follow and make sure when it's the right time to join the next match. These are...
Step 1 - Open "Quest Log"
Before joining a game, click on the "Quest Log" and make sure all your Quest information like Arena and Adventure wins are updated.
Step 2 - Open "Inventory"
Open your Inventory and make sure your SLP balance is displayed. If you just finished playing a game then make sure that the fresh SLP were added to your Inventory before you play again.
Step 3 - Open "Battle Log"
Before joining a new game you need to make sure that your previous game is displayed in the "Battle Log".
Click on the Battle Log, wait until all your previous games are displayed and when they do you're good to go.
Step 4 - Play
That's my favourite step haha! Once you make sure everything all your info are correctly synced you can join a game and have fun at the Axie Infinity Lands!

As mentioned in my video, this is not an official fix the Axie team suggested but it's something that's helped me complete my Daily Quest both yesterday and today so I'll take it. I know it sucks but it is what it is.
