Slaves of the Machine? Curious things can sometimes happen on blockchain networks. The mystery surrounding the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin (BTC), is just the first of many crypto enigmas. The latest oddity occurred this time on Ethereum (ETH), where a seemingly Chinese millionaire made a significant cryptocurrency donation to Wikileaks before sacrificing 500 ethers to voice his concerns about 'mind control'!    

Mind control weapons are allegedly being used by a firm called 'Kuande Investments'

Messages sent on the Ethereum blockchain by the user 'Hu Lezhi' are all written in Chinese, and they appear alarming when translated. The latest message was sent on February 17, 2025, with 500 ETH ($1.4 million) sent to a null address (0x000…000), thus burned/destroyed as unrecoverable.

In this message, our whistleblower claims that the leaders of Kuande Investments (a hedge fund based in China) are using 'mind control weapons' against their employees:
'The bosses of Kuande Investments, Feng Xin and Xu Yuzhi, have used mind control weapons to persecute all employees and former employees of the company. Even they themselves are also under control.'

A bizarre story of 'brain control chips implanted in the brain'!?

In another even more bizarre message sent the day before, with 33 ETH ($91,000) sent to a null address, the mysterious Ethereum user claims that these mind control weapons are being used on a large scale by 'major military powers':
'Brain-machine chips have already been deployed on a large scale for military purposes, and all major military powers use base stations, radio signals, and nano-brain-machine chips to control their citizens.'

In addition to burning ETH, this crypto millionaire makes significant donations to Wikileaks

As we have seen, the Ethereum user always sends ethers to a null address alongside his alert messages. This already represents a small fortune in total. Indeed, as can be seen on Etherscan, since the beginning of his messages, this mysterious Hu Lezhi has destroyed more than 600 ETH in total, equivalent to $1.7 million at the current rate.

But that's not all. Because the whistleblower has also made donations to Wikileaks at the same time as some of his messages. As can be seen below, he has sent more than 700 ETH to Julian Assange's organization, nearly $2 million, along with another strange message:  
'There is a new mode of crime in which the victim is gradually deprived of their sense of desire until they become a complete slave to the digital machine.'

Obviously, for now, all this remains quite mysterious, but the millions of dollars in ETH destroyed or donated by this individual do not go unnoticed. Is this a real whistleblower in the style of Julian Assange or Edward Snowden, or just a millionaire in ethers gone mad? In any case, his behavior has managed to attract media attention."
