Crypto on a budget

Title says it all

Looking to get your feet wet in crypto but "The Man" is keeping you broke?

Yeah.

Me too.

Maybe we can help each other.

The views expressed here are solely my own and may not accurately depict the aforementioned product/service. Your mileage may vary. I am open to enlightenment if you dare..

Here's a list of all the dare I say 'worthwhile' products/services I have found that actually pay/reward with little to no upfront investment.

these are DIRECT LINKS. I REPEAT, THESE ARE NOT affiliate or referral links. I'm not shilling. Just here to help.

Coin App / XYO

I won't bore you with the project details you can do your own due diligence. The app works well, almost like a gps system. You open the app, go about your day and it geomines small amounts of 'coin'. Once you hit the 10k threshold you can dump it to XYO on Coinbase at a variable exchange rate that's communicated in the app. Does it work? YES. Is it viable? NO Without significant investment it simply doesn't make sense.

With typical app usage no in-app purchases and no additional hardware it took just over 2 years to hit the 10k coin, after fees the 'cash out' netted me about $4.89 in XYO.

NODLE app / NODL

Again, not boring you with project details. The app works, recent updates allow you to create a 'farm' if you will. Installing a hotspot app on old android devices that contribute to your earnings. The wallet works the rewards add up, I have my primary device (iPhone 15 pro) and 4 old androids (flip1, flip5, lg v60 and a fold2). In the last 3 days I have mined 165 NODL with a value of about $0.006 usd each at the time of writing. It adds up to about $1 in three days time. If left running uninterrupted for a typical month (30 days) that's approximately 1,650 NODL or roughly $10 usd per month at these rates. Does it work? YES! Is it viable? YES. If you have the spare devices to contribute. At a single device rate. No way. Not to mention the project is only available to trade on obscure exchanges that restrict services to the US.

I'll be keeping this one around to continue testing and see how it evolves.

Lolli.com / BTC

This one isn't necessarily a token on its own but rather a rewards platform that allows cashing out in BTC directly to your personal wallet.
Not a lot to say here, link it with your bank card, activate an offer, shop at the retailer selected, benefit.
the rewards take a while to 'vest' but I can gladly say I've cashed out at least 4 times in the last year each time netting me about $15-$30 in BTC.

Fountain.fm / BTC

A Podcast player that pays. Enough said.

Coinbase Earn

Set up an account, check the tabs for 'earn' opportunities. Your mileage may vary greatly here, not everyone sees all the offers right away. Some tracks require multiple steps and require moving tokens in and out of different wallets. Follow the directions and the rewards do eventually hit but some opportunities may be complicated to fully complete.

This just names a few that I've personally used and wouldn't mind sharing with the community.

have you come across any other viable ways to get your hands on some coin without upfront investment?
