Genius Act and developers' bad dreams in a rapid market era

The market is going crazy. Coin prices are growing two, three, even ten times. Investors are foaming, the affected people are happy, and every day new projects are popping up with promises of "better financial future".

But behind the curtain, the developers are getting trapped in a nightmare that they never guessed what should have been during their golden age.

On one hand, the rules are becoming strict. The Genius Act- or whatever form takes, may look like a smart step from the government's point of view, but for developers, it can be a trap. Suddenly, the writing code can be equally done with the distribution of weapons. Imagine that you just open a smart contract, then drag to court because someone else used it for illegal purposes.

On the other hand, rapid market brings equally acute pressure. Infrastructure is not ready, servers are overwhelmed, and users get angry at pending transactions. A small bug can become a major title. And the irony is that the more crowd the market becomes, the sounds of cool developers become. They pressurize to "release quickly", even if it is unstable, it is still asked to respond to the answer 24/7 of community questions, developing new features.

To not mention challenges from AI. Code-help equipment are getting more advanced, but they also steal. Basic projects can be copied overnight. The code written with great effort suddenly becomes a free template for copy-paste projects. Your hard work is converted into a promotion coin by those who do not even know how the first line of the code works.

What if the project you built fail or is invaded? The first directed are not investors, not the founders, but ... you. The developers. The scapegoat goats.

This is the nightmare that no one talks about. This in the midst of the market euphoria, someone should be awake and have the consequences: developers.

And perhaps the only way to survive is to continue building. Not because the market is increasing, not because of hype. But because you know no one cares about the foundation, this house will collapse. And you, whether you like it or not, become one of the few people who really care.
