Recently, after few months of inactivity, the hacker of Poloniex platform has transferred more than 1,100 Ethereum to the Tornado Cash cryptocurrency mixing platform. This hacker transferred around $180 million worth in batches and across different blockchain networks.
According to “Arkham Intelligence” platform, this hacker transferred 100 Ethereum in 11 payments to the “Tornado Cash” platform, bringing the total amount he sent to 1,100 Ethereum, worth about 3.4 million dollars.
This is for Ethereum. As for Bitcoin, 501 Bitcoins worth about $32 million were transferred on April 30. This hacker also owns various digital assets, including TRX and FLOKI currencies, in addition to, of course, Ethereum and Bitcoin. In November 2023, the Poloniex platform lost $125 million worth of cryptocurrencies.

Justin Sun "a Chinese-born Grenadian cryptocurrency entrepreneur and business executive and owner of Poloneix platform" has promised compensation and full payment to those affected and offered a 5% reward to the hacker if he returned what he had stolen.
Although the sanctions opposed by the US government against Tornado Cash mixing platform, the platform still helps ccrypto hackers to spend hacked cryptocurrencies by mixing transactions and making it difficult to trace the currencies.
