In the latest days things escalated to a very tense degree in East of Europe, Ukraine allies gave them the green light to use long-range missiles against Russian territory, and that what exactly Ukraine AF did, although it might not change the fact the Ukraine lost a lot of territory but this can change the perspective of Russia towards the war or what so called "Special Operation". Russian in this war has gained the supporting of its people, strikes from Ukraine may put Russians into some fear and thoughts that their lives may get affected, which can lead this supporting to decrease and that's a thing Russia does not want for sure. 

After 1000 days of this bloody war, Russia is the winning side. Russia has captured around 18.85% of Ukraines area which is equivalent to 86816 square kilometers which is the size of 5 counties combined:

1. Slovenia (20,273 km²)
2. Lebanon (10,452 km²)
3. Moldova (33,846 km²)
4. Armenia (29,743 km²)
5. Albania (28,748 km²)

This area is divided into the following:

Donetsk Republic = 17466 km², 65,87% by Russia

Lugansk Republic = 26457 km², 99,15% by Russia

Kherson = 21452 km² by Russia / 7009 km² by Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia = 20343 km² by Russia / 6840 km² by Ukraine   Kharkiv= 1100 km² by Russia / 30315 km² by Ukraine     Scenario 1: Prolonged Stalemate neither Russia or Ukraine achieves victory, the area becomes a war zone, western support lacks, Russia isolation increase, war continue until negotiation start or one side collapses.   Scenario 2: Diplomatic Resolution Military losses, economy exhaustion, international intervention will force both countries to site on the table, Ukraine demands to recover occupied area, Russia may not agree to let go, maybe all area except Lugansk and Donetsk will be recovered by Russia, Russia will be obliged to reconstruct areas outside war zone e.g Odessa, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia.... etc. Russia will demand to reduce sanctions against them, war stopes but tension stays for decades until next war starts.   Scenario 3: Escalation NATO keeps aiding Ukraine. Ukraine keeps hitting Russia with long range missiles, Russia respond with tactical low yield nuclear missile in Ukraine, Russia prepares and aim all its nuclear power against western counties waiting for their response, 2 probabilities: they shoot back, or they prefer self-control style, they shoot back? we may start seeing meteors all over the sky. they remain calme? Russia wins the war with a cost which maybe born of new North Korea.
