The popular crypto mining simulator game RollerCoin is being updated as I write this post, and they released an update announcement video that I have now over-analyzed so that I can give you a recap of it and share what they have planned for that game. Based on the video there will be a lot of new, fun features. What will these be?

Seasons

Just like many other popular games, it appears that RollerCoin will be adding in a seasons feature. The name of the first season will be Perfection and it will last for 60 days starting today. Throughout each season players will be able to collect xp to level up. Leveling up will gain users bonus items and rewards such a miners. The YouTube video RollerCoin published also mentioned "Event Pass Items". Does this mean that the game will have a feature like season passes or gold passes? If that is the case, I would speculate that the items in the background of that part of the video are the items you can earn. These items include mining racks, miners, and RollerToken. The seasons feature seems like it will be a great addition to the game.

Weekly Quests

Today's RollerCoin update is going to include the addition of weekly quests that will earn you rewards. The first example shown is the video is a challenge to play 25 games, and the reward is 10 xp. This could be one of the real quests they add to the game, or it may just be a mock-up they made for the video. Either way, I believe it does confirm the addition of an xp system which will be closely related to seasons and levels. Other quests shown in the video include playing 50 games, playing 150 games, watching a YouTube video, and visiting their Facebook page. Interestingly enough this means that you will be able to earn xp by doing actions other than playing the game.

Collections

The new update will have a feature called "Collections". This will likely involve gathering rare and exclusive miners that give you bonus hashing power. Once neat part of this feature is that it will add bonus power by percentage rather than an absolute amount, meaning it will be very useful to those who already have a lot of established mining power. In the video the example has a total of 39% bonus power, but I'm guessing that level will be very difficult to achieve and most players will have much less. 

Store

The video advertises that there will be a new "Store" section. I do not know how this will be different from the current market place. It could potentially be a complete replacement. 

Decorations

Tired of mining crypto in the same old boring digital room? If so, then there is good news for you. The video indicates that there will be new decorations that you can purchase to redecorate you mining quarters. The only downside is that they do appear to cost precious RLT that could instead be spent on better miners or larger racks. While anyone will likely be allowed to buy these, I definitely would recommend waiting until you are a late-game player to invest in decorations unless they are really inexpensive or somehow allow you to have more mining power. 

Other Features

There are few other minor features of this update also. One of those is that the next time you log on you will be given a tutorial on how to play. Another is the introduction of little bits of information while the power you earned from playing a game is being validated. Finally, this update did not include the addition of a new mini-game.
