Cake Defi was launched Litecoin Liquidity Pool on 2nd February 2021 at 11:00 UTC. Deposits were available a few hours before the official launch. And after just a few hours, it shows enormous interest in this pool. The assets in the pool are 1,609 LTC and 86,660 DFI and APY is 3439%. Perhaps due to this interest, the price of LTC (currently $143.73) has risen. We'll see how the LTC Liquid pool goes.

As a reminder: The DeFiChain (DFI) is doing very well so far, as it traded for $0.16 six months ago and now its price is $2.63. And if someone has a fear of a possible impermanent loss of liquidity pool, it is possible to hold a DFI and earn 37% API by much safer way on Pool.

It seems that 2021 can really be the year of DeFi.
