Does your underwear match your shirt and socks? Sunday I was getting dressed for church so I laid out a pair of Levi's, a blue t-shirt, a pair of black Scooby-Doo socks, and a pair of red underwear. As I was getting dressed I started thinking about how some people will color coordinate everything. now I was kind of laughing to myself thinking well my shirt, my socks, my shoes, and my pants all match but my red underwear doesn't match anything. Then I said to myself well that's okay nobody's going to see my underwear anyway. That's when the Lord laid something in my spirit. He said that's exactly the way many Christians are today. What people see doesn't match what's hidden underneath.

If you see a homeless person on the corner asking for a meal do you feed them or do you look down your nose at them acting like they're beneath you.

If you see an addict that has relapsed for the 542nd time do you try to pick them up and motivate them to get back on the right track or do you say that worthless piece of trash is never going to change. They just need to OD and get it over with that's what they want anyway.

What about if you're a pastor or church leader and a man comes to church in a dress do you welcome them with only love in your heart or do you pull him in the back talking about we have a dress code around here so you're only welcomed to come back if you're wearing pants.

I want to end by giving honor where honor is due. Thank you Abba Father for keeping your hand upon me and my life. Thank you Jesus for being my Lord and Savior and for dying on the cross so that I could have eternal life. Thank you Holy Spirit for giving me guidance, discipline, comfort, and for being so much more to me than just a tongue talker.
