G'day Everybody, I hope You are all well.
Jays n Dees have been an avid reader of all types of writings within Publish0x for quite some time now, and we must say, we like every writers style of presenting information! There are the purely formal writings, and the ones added with a dash of love, and everything in between.
This might be where we sit - the somewhere in between..
This post is being written for the sheer want of being able to easily share with those that are curious, those that are indifferent, or those that are unknown, to Us and Our way of Life.
We are surely stereotyped as 'Writers of Randomness'.
But I would hope that is a good thing.
Please allow me to start, by introducing Ourselves..
We are a completed functionally disfunctional party of 6.
This breaks down to:
* Myself, D1, M, 40yo this year,
* D2, F, 32yo this year,
* J1, M, 12yo this year,
* J2, M, 8yo this year,
* J3 and J4, twins, M and F, 2yo this year.
There is by no means perfection in any of this, nor will there ever be any claim to be. Except of course, that it is perfection to myself and D2.
This is why we decided on Jays n Dees.
What do we do online?
We have Our website, Jays n Dees.
There, we have slowly been adding to Our blog, which is just as random and scattered as Ourselves.
We also have a claimable Litecoin faucet, where you can earn small amounts of LTC.
We also have a few other crypto projects in the making.
I am slowly learning the infinite amounts of information involved in being an online presence, and just so You know, there never will be perfection with any of it.
But still, there is no harm in having a bit of fun along the way!
I also think that I have heard a groan or 2 from readers who think that faucets are a waste of time. That is ok, we are all entitled to opinion. That is what helps us to be human.
However, I decided to create the access to a faucet, so that there is an easy method to dip some toes into the exciting realm that is Cryptocurrency. It does make it an acceptable way to start stacking sats, even though it is over a greater period of time.
We are also aware that there are some sites where time and effort are simply not worth it.. that is their choice, not Ours.
When it is all said and done, faucets ARE a great way to learn about cryptocurrency, and the responsibilities involved, as is the case with ANY currency one might hold in their wallet - physical, or digital..
Because let's face it - any electronic transaction done these days could nearly be classified as a crypto transaction. It is uniquely stamped with numbers and letters, from sender X, to receiver Y.
We also operate a crypto miner. It is by no means a life changing miner, but it does support belief. We mine Vertcoin - VTC - and also have the privilege of operating a full node behind it to support the vision of decentralisation.
What else is Jays n Dees?
Great question! And one that might be impossible to fully answer..
However, I will at least get a start on it..
Aside from crypto, we have many things that are enjoyable. For me personally, I do like to slow cook brisket (and other meats, but brisket is b-e-s-t!). Every weekend, I like to delve into my mind and create small subtle differences to how I cook Our chosen meat, from times, to ingredients.
An example is tonight, a Saturday night (Australia), where I am doing a slow cook Cape Grim brisket. It is a 2.5kg monster of a chunk of meat, but as is standard, there is a fair bit of fat on it.
Tonight, I chose to do it with the fatty side down, for the entire cook, which is sitting at almost 5 hours as of writing this sentence. I have my standard selection of herbs and spices (whatever is on hand at the time) and also use smoking chips. It was a selection of cherry wood chunks, and also chickory chips blended together.
It has been smelling delicious for the past couple of hours admittedly, and my tummy has been grumbling since..
I cannot wait to cut into this, for sure!
What else?
We all enjoy playing Minecraft. We have Our own Realm, where we just go play and dig, and relieve daily stresses. Even Our extended family has access, so it is a great little digital interaction on occasion. And sometimes I do enjoy being evil and dump everybody into a completely new world, just to hear the complaints!
Both myself and D2 like sewing and designing items, and currently we are trialling an experiment of selling items on ebay, if anything, for a supplemental income. Currently, it is just t-shirts, but we are continually expanding Our ideas.
We also enjoy tattooing each other when we have exceptional designs, otherwise it is all performed on fake skins. We are amateurs, just be warned of that one haha! Learning how to do good art is by no means an easy feat.
Gardening is a great little project of both myself, and J2. Currently, there is work in progress to establish Our own gardens to supply us with our most favoured garden produce, if anything, just to lessen the impacts of buying such things. We utilise a wicking garden system for all of out grown items. Time will tell of the success.
There is much more to tell, but this is only an Introduction, and as such, it is probably too long already.
