SYMPHONY OF A BROKEN SOUL
Flip, flop, flip, flop
Droplets of rain fell from the sky Like little diamonds shining in glee How I envy them for I wanted to be free Little adventures written on a book Yet, I couldn't dare to step foot to see As time passes by, my heart starts to scream "It's just a little rain," is what I say Then why is it flooding at the river bay? Storm formed within as I started to recall What my soul has to say! Enduring the pain that never ends So is my journey without courage Sadness may be my one and only friend Who says, "Follow me," then he took my hand Somehow the room turned into unending storm, As pale white snow began to fall
Despite all of these I couldn't bear to look How majestic the outside world must be
There is fear, but something else I think Sitting by the window, slowly as I shrink Oh, I don't know, maybe that's what it feels
Heat started to fade from my inner core And so i wondered "Where might be the door?"
