So about a month ago, I signed up specifically for the Fold card (https://use.foldapp.com/r/T7J3FJ9E) specifically to play their new "Enter the Metaverse" game:
And yes, the short story is that the game is free to play, and you do actually win BTC.
For those of you don't know, you're able to download the Fold app for free to use it as a cashback portal to earn satoshis, a system very similar to Lolli, another crypto cashback portal. However, in order to play Enter the Metaverse, it's currently only open to Fold debit card holders, in which they have two different types, the Spin (no-annual fee card) and the Spin+ ($150 annual fee). I myself, have the no annual fee one, where the biggest "hidden fee" is it's inactivity fee of $5, but that's if you don't have a transaction over 12 consecutive months. The Fold app itself without the card is fun to mess around, you get free daily spins where you can win satoshis, and it offers cashback on amazon gift cards (currently 1.5%, or 5% with a Fold card), something a lot of other online shopping portals don't have.
Ok, anyways on to the game. It's still in beta, and they self-proscribe that there a lot of bugs with it. Regardless, it's quite a bit of fun. My wife constantly asks me when the game refreshes because she likes playing as well too. From the same people that brought you Pokemon Go, you use your phone to look for a metaverse box in which you have to open by tapping. Once tapped, it explodes with coins, rekt coins, extra spinner bonuses, extra time bonuses, orange protective pills, poison purple pills, diamonds, and diamond hands. The diamonds are worth 5 satoshis a piece, and a coin is respectively worth 1. You can play the game as many times as you want along it's "metaverse blockchain," but you're limited to playing a new game only when the next block comes up, which is normally every 10-15 minutes or so.

OK, so it's a free game that you can play to earn real satoshis. Awesome right? Well don't think you'll be a millionaire off this game any time soon, for I believe the maximum amount satoshis you can win from the game daily is about 50-or-so satoshis, which is...about 2.5 cents. But if you're a Pokemon Go fan, you're going to have some fun playing this one too.
