Obviously, the giant wants to get its hands on the world of cryptocurrencies too. It was to be expected, as we all know blockchain and cryptos are a disruptive technology that promises to be digital economic means for a digital world.
Not only it will create its own currency, but it will also give its users (all the people who use Facebook, I mean us) the opportunity to exchange dollars and other cryptocurrencies in exchange for its GlobalCoin.
The idea of the giant is to have the possibility of using this mechanism to establish a digital payment system so that its users can carry out purchase/sale/exchange operations and other transactions without the need for even having to create or have a bank account.
It will also allow Whatsapp to send/receive money between its users (that would be great, although a little scary if someone steals your cell phone) and will also be used to encourage users to see advertising for an economic incentive paid through this cryptocurrency.
I suppose this monster is serious and will surely shake platforms like Paypal, Transferwise and other money exchange.
Of course, creating a secure and non-volatile cryptocurrency is a very difficult task and sure thing that will have to comply with a number of international regulations and statutes to be able to put in motion this crypto. However, we know it is Facebook. It is not just any company.
I wonder... It will pose a threat to social networks like Steemit, Whaleshares, Publishx0? What do you think?

Keep spreading the love

Thanks for passing by!
