I wish I could say everywhere in my area was getting on board with solar. But I can’t. 

Now, community solar farms are newer to the normal person than rooftop solar but I mean come on, at least act like you care about the planet. 

I go door to door enrolling people in a free sign up to be connected to one of these solar farms through their existed electric company. They get a discount and use clean energy.

Sounds awesome! Right? Well it has not been that easy. I am actually shocked interacting with people. This is in the state of Maryland, US. 

The sign up takes no more than 5 minutes but it feels like I’m asking people for a kidney. And my company Nautilus gives you a gift card for signing up! Now it’s not my company, I just work there. 

So from what I see in people is that either they don’t care or are so scared I am scamming them. It’s a sad sad state. I know not everyone is like this.  Some people are actually smart, have some standards and care about the future.
