Faucet fatigue makes me captcha cranky.

Hi, it’s your standard new to crypto authors who’s income had been devastated due to the pandemic. During my states lock down I initially did the stay in your underwear and find any way to distract yourself. This wasn’t necessary healthy but when everything was about covid you turn to other outlets. Facebook was full of people who became experts in the virus overnight. Instagram tried its best to put that fake smile on for the camera. YouTube was the best of the three until I started watching YouTube clips of tic tok. I had already created a Clint Eastwood type of view towards the app without ever having it. I thought all these young punks need to get off my yard, figuratively speaking. Then I made my way to the App Store and my world changed. After watching people day drink and do dances I started seeing more variety. Then I saw more crypto creators and started thinking and researching everything crypto.

Then I saw those magical words, Free Crypto. I checked out a few sites at first but never signed up because typing in an email address and password seemed like too much work. Yep, I was at that stage where not knowing how I was going to survive financially and started naming my pillows to have a conversations with due to the lack of human contact.

Then the bills stared pulling up so I looked for every angle to make a buck. I started signing up for every free crypto faucet site I could find. I would tire from the mindless click click click I had to perform until I would retreat back to reality offline and then see the world wasn’t that much better.

Coin pot and cointiply were my new friends. I started having around there friends, Uulotto, Bitfun, Freebit and many others. I would click and click until my pointer finger went numb. Then I was informed that reality was returning. I started to return to the world but I was bring this free stuff with me.

Instead of just focusing on the click I started to think ill be working again why not buy this stuff. Which I did but I still loved my clicks. They were there for me either every 5, 30 or 60 minutes.

I starting breaking through the mental hibernation and I thought, hmmm maybe I should do some math and figure if this is a good use of time. Then I had a better idea, let’s find out if someone else has done the math.

I read an article about Coinpot which said clicking every 30 minutes or sooner was the best strategy. If done daily it would be worth four figures in a year. The way the faucet worked is fast to start then slower and slower.

I looked for other strategies for other sites. Mostly this seemed to be a way of generating referrals for themselves. They raves about each site. Then after spending hours and not making a penny in any of the coins I was collecting, I recalled the phrase that if you can’t figure out who the sucker in the room is, it’s you.

Did I stop then? Nope I did more research and most of the time my own math.   This is when these captcha started to annoying me the most. How dare they make me call a scooter a motorcycle!! I prayed for the traffic signal pics to be displayed only to find out that sometimes they like the whole signal and other times the outer edge of the light won’t be included. The taxis were the most constant.

Then faucet errors started to happen. Coinpot is the worst on this. You build up a daily bonus. You select all the buses and then they deny you all day the ability to collect. Bye bye daily bonus.

Cointiply was so much better but the paid to click ads open in a new tab and apparently the ad and me disagree with how long 10 seconds is.   I started questioning the work I was doing. I’m not a quitter so I just found more sites. Maybe I have a problem I pondered. This lead me to other avenues of free crypto which have paid out much more than any faucet to date.

When it comes to faucet sites you need a few things to make it worth your time.

  1. A daily bonus
  2. The ability to earn interest on your account that is in a reasonable time. Cointiply took me about 5 weeks to reach that point.
  3. More than one way to collect crypto. Surveys are the most popular and the most painful. You can make more from other surveys sites than most faucets. Paid to click is ok and does show you a lot of ads for the crypto world. Games, downloading apps, watching video are other options. Gambling is another and seems mostly like a waste of time since they odds won’t be in your favor.
  4. Referral bonus.
  5. Quick and easy withdraws.

Some sites are just painful to get through. You click a box which open another tabs with opens another window which opens up a porn site and then your time has run out on validating the captcha. Some site can harm your computer as well with malware and such.

The goal of these sites is to keep you coming back and for you to bring referrals with you.

I have been thinking of creating a way for people to swap referrals with each other. If anyone know of a site or way instead just asking or promoting through the typical avenue, please let know. What I love about crypto is the openness and fairness it brings. It would be great if we can have a way of doing that with referral. Example would be if someone needs a  referral to site A but hasn’t signed up for site B, let’s make an agreement to help each other out.

I continue to look at other faucet sites but I will leave right away before I get sucked into the mindset of saying, well I spent this much time might as well keep going. Don’t! It’s not worth it.

Here’s my least favorite sites, altcoins so many pop ups and new tabs. Plus the click here button will float so that you end up clicking on an add. Coinpot since there’s captchas raise my blood pressure with their lies about what’s a motorcycle or where a cross walk ends Trustdice, who designed this site and can we get them on a different career path.

Another thing to consider is are you getting a certain portion of the coin from these faucets or another representation of that coin that’s unique to that site. The value of coins change and so will the amount you collect. You need to time your exchanges if your site allows it and withdraws so you can maximize the amount made.

To date it seems like betfury is the best free site. You can collect every 20 minutes free stats. But the true value is in their dividends and cash back. The amount of stats has gone done with bitcoins rising so you will be better off depositing a few dollars worth of bitcoin. You receive tokens after you bet so many sats. It seems to be around 2000 sats plus is about one token. Others have written more about them and I encourage you to read more and watch the videos out there about how to collect the tokens. Here’s my referral link and feel free to contact me to sign up for a referral from you. Hopefully I won’t have signed up for your site already.   https://betfury.io/?r=5f9374bebab1457e8c74e7bb
