"Sir, Mr.Maxwells Lawyers are here."
"Send them in sally"
Three men dressed in a black suit enters the conference room of Maxwell Industries, Peter maxwell sits at the chair that was once his fathers. He recently inherited Maxwell industries after his father's death.
"I am Jared Jhonson from Clayton, these are my associates Hoffman and Williamson"
As the group gets settled in Peter opens up his laptop
"You mentioned a Will at the Funeral, I assume you are here to discuss it"
"Peter, As you are already aware Mr.Maxwell disposed of many of his movable assets in the past few years. He used the generated funds to clear all outstanding debts and bought back shares from investors. During his last days, he was engaged with different firms that were interested in acquiring Maxwell Industries and all of its subsidiaries."
Peter interrupts," You are telling me that my father was planning to sell his entire empire?"
"Yes, We were left explicit instruction to let you know about this only after his death"
Williamson takes a file from his bag
" We have tasked to handover this file to you, Our firm has been paid in full to assist you in the transition of ownership and to help you in any legal issues, The contents of the file are for your eyes only and was prepared by Mr. Maxwell himself"
Jared hands Peter a business card
" If there is anything that you need from us, we are at your service. Good Day Peter."
The group goes out of the conference hall.
Peter opens up the file and sees documents regarding transactions to an Indian company named RC corporation. There was a letter addressed to him which instructed him to travel to India. Peter calls for his PSO.
A Muscular man in his 30s enters in a black suit," Sir, Martin Cooper, I am your PSO"
"You were working with my father , weren't you Martin"
"Yes Sir ever since he acquired the firm I worked for I was his PSO"
"Acquired your firm? So you and your team are not from Eligius Security Service?"
"We were sir, Mr. Maxwell bought Eligius an year ago, now elegius is not a private security contractor, Mr. Maxwell used the staff of Eligius to protect his assets."
"Did he make frequent trips to India?"
"I don't know sir,he made trips without taking security detail,he used a rented plane from Nemesis Air, instead of his private jet. He bought a private airfield in Kansas we dropped him off at the site. When he returns we were alerted and we picked him."
"How frequent were these trips?"
"It started 6 months ago, it was once or twice a month, anything wrong sir?" Martin asks in a doubted tone
"We are good Martin, You may leave now"
Martin walks out closing the door.
Peter looks through the file, Finds a ledger document, he reads the names, It was some companies. On top it was Eligius, then Nemesis Air....
Peter thinks for himself, What is he up to................
