Peter is sitting in his office room, Martin enters
"Sir We didn't find supply, they came empty"
Peter gets up"What do you mean by empty? Did they find anything?"
"No sir, the depot was empty. Somebody took those weapons before us, We wanted to do a sweep but we were low on fuel"
"After quarantine, Debrief them, find out who else is out there"
A man in military uniform runs inside," Sir we have radio contact with the terminal" He shouts at Peter.
Peter moves to the command centre and picks up the receiver
"My name is Peter, I am talking to you from a facility called ARK. Identify yourself"
"Sounds too official, let me get the colonel for you" The receiver goes static for some time.
"Who am I talking with?" A man sounded probably in his 40s started talking
" My name is Peter Maxwell"
"The billionaire? So it is true you are running an outpost in my country."
"Who am I speaking with?" Peter asks with a tone of curiosity
"Colonel Rajeev Pratap, That is my name"
"Colonel, how many of you are there?"
"We are large enough to overpower you Mr.Billionaire"
"We seek peace Colonel, We don't want a war. And I am not anymore a billionaire, assets and money are of no value now."
"If you don't want a war why did your men came to the Army Depot, Peter"
"You were here?" Peter looks at his staff blaming them for this failure.
"You won't get those weapons, they are ours now"
" We don't want a war, we want to survive just like you"
"I Don't think so, The fact that we are not in range of your choppers is the only thing that prevents you from thinking about an assault" Colonel laughs
"There can be a middle ground, We can be good allies"
"I have some other business that needs my attention..Good day Mr.Peter"
Colonel puts the receiver down, A silence prevailed in the command centre.
" I was told a group of survivors were found in the terminal, They are not a simple group but armed soldiers. They even have eyes on our backyard. They took the weapons from the depot. Now can someone tell me what the hell is happening"
"Sir" A young lady steps in.
"Who are you" Peter looks for answers
"Your team picked me up from the road, I was working under Colonel before the outbreak"
"What is your name"
"Sanjana"
Meet me in my office.
Peter walks out, Sanjana and Martin follow him to the office.
