Aloha , I Just had some things on my mind and well police being one of them. Reason being is because it got me thinking about police in Hawai'i compared to police in the mainland. When you are driving around in the mainland, you can tell if you are approaching or coming up to police/state police. GPS now days will alert you if there is police near by or if you were approaching police somewhere. Police cars here in the mainland have police/state police written on the side of there cars. Now when you are ever on the big-island in Hawai'i , one thing to take to heart and remember is big-island cops drive there own personal cars, and they do not have police written on the side of there cars, and another thing the only places that you will ever find a state police car is in our national park area or state park areas.
Well I can honestly say that when I first came to Pennsylvania and drove I was breaking every time I saw a four runner and every time I saw a dodge charger, and if it was not for my fiancé asking me why I was slowing down and breaking and me telling him that I thought it was a cop, and him replying me that here in the mainland our police officers cars actually say police on them and you know when you see a cop. So I have to say thank you to my fiancé for that piece of information, because like what I said on the big-island of Hawai'i police officers drive there own personal cars.
