Well to make a long story just a bit longer ..... There is this guy, called @Crackers and he does these great Meet the Artist interviews right here on Publis0X.
Now I have been around the NFT block for over a year now and probably read all his articles..... the best thing is that these articles very often come with a little giveaway.
And the even better thing is that I sometimes won that giveaway....
Now in all honesty I did not always keep the NFTs I won. Because I made my money selling free nfts.... I basically wrote the book (or at least several blogs) on that.
Now the free NFT market ain´t what it used to be, very few artists still just giveaway free nft links....it´s all Twitter, Tag 3 friends, like and retweet giveaways nowadays to stop the claiming bots.
At least that is what they say but I beat the bots in the past, so my guess is they just want a bigger following and it allows them to give at their own convenience .....when they are actually giving.
Not Crackers, these giveaways are the most legit sh!t I've seen on Twit.

The Bitcoin Babes
So a week or two ago I read this one:
Meet the artist behind Bitcoin Babes
And I got so excited....because a Bitcoin baby boy like me wants nothing more than a Bitcoin Babe. Especially because these babes look freaking awesome....
But let´s not be too superficial of course it's all about the Tech. Because this is not just a series of Hot Babes....we´ve seen that before. No this is the start of a whole new universe, this artist is building a NFT game on the unreal engine.
The Story so far
Well I am not gonna go too deep into the whole story of the Bitcoin Babes but part 1&2 are out there for you to read:

I wanna get into the NFT side of the story and that story is about Valara
She´s a bounty hunter and her ship is the Dendarii. And that is where my fun starts. Because I won the BitcoinBabes giveaway and got a big crate of BitcoinBabes....unfortunately I did not find any of the actual babes in my crate but I found a lot of spare parts.
Well, those are just what was left after building my own Dendrarii plane:
Now that plane started out being worth 2800 WAX but of course, that is just the 'any price you give it' number. I wonder where that price is truly gonna land, right now it has crashed to 400 Wax which still seems a bit high to me. But if this game is going to take off who knows...because that ship si essential to leaving the planet of Metalarin and for alpha access to the Bitcoin Babes game.
Metalarin
Now I only had a plasma thingy until I got the ring portal in a special drop (enabled by having the plane), and those two blended the planet of Metalarin.
Holding this planet gives you an early game access pass to planet Metalarin.
This pass right now has an 'any price' of 1500 wax.
Now, why am I mentioning those prices?
Early Days
Prices have everything to do with my early NFT days. In which I made a small fortune selling those free NFTs. If you can $452 a small fortune.
But I never bought any NFTs, not one in my whole year on WAX. Until this series....
I spend 2.99 WAX on buying the requirements I was missing after winning the first prize.
That large crate of BitcoinBabes but then without any babes.
But buying those NFTs made me the proud owner of two Bitcoin Babes NFTs that are essential to start the game. And in all honesty, the WAX paid I made from selling free NFTs anyway.
I put some of the spare parts (the ones I don´t need anymore as they are requirements for the ship) up for sale as I wanna buy a real B. Babe.... like:

But as most men know babes like these do not come cheap.
So I probably need some luck acquiring one of these hotties to play with. But for now, I am just really excited to see this project take off and evolve. And then the question comes will I also sell my Bitcoin Babes nfts??? The answer: IDK (for now).
Bottom Line.
So the takeaway basically is that you shouldn´t join the Meet the Artist giveaways because instead of winning free NFTs you end up paying for NFTs just like me....😋
They sucked me in with great-looking babes & I ended up with a planet, a plane. But who knows maybe one day I will get my grubby little baby paws on one of those Bitcoin babes....because that´s the ultimate dream of a Bitcoin baby.
