It is no longer a secret that Samsun is set to unveil their native coin into the crypto verse sooner than expected. The project team is already testing on the Ethereum ecosystem for its ERC20 token. The team appears to have hit the road running and is already testing their MainNet.
Samsung Electronics is a global brand name and a coin associated with the firm could have an upper hand with adoption anticipated from its vibrant consumer base. The company is known to make both low and high end smartphones and the recent wallet launch appears to be in preparation for a mobile supported wallet.
Samsung Coin Making Sense
Two months ago, the Electronic giant unveiled its native crypto wallet designed for ERC20 token. What’s more; the wallet is featured in their Galaxy S10. To make the plans clearer, the wallet does not support BTC but instead supports ETH!
The wallet is secure and is hardware backed sand stores the user private keys. Targeting the mobile device user could turn out a hit for Samsung but the timing will have to battle it out with other established and shiny platforms for the same user base.
to make a positive impact in the crypto sphere, Samsung will however have to look beyond the shrinking South Korean market and focus its visibility drive towards virgin markets. Secondly, launching an ICO in South Korea is a no go zone and the company should think of Binance exchange for their Initial Exchange Offering (IEP) or try a private sale in crypto haven countries like Japan.
Samsung Pay Not Associated with the Crypto Project
There are all indications that Samsung Pay might be integrated into the MainNet but at the moment, the two are not connected. However, whichever way it goes, many Samsun brand users and adorers are anticipating the entry of the coin into the crypto verse.
