Favorite dessert
A perfectly baked chocolate fondant with good accessories is a nice end to a meal. The batter can be prepared several days in advance, and it may also be a good idea to bake a test cake before the guests arrive, because here a small minute can be the difference between success or failure. Well, it takes a lot for it to fail, for good it is anyway.
With a little preparation in advance, you can also impress your guests with accessories such as ice cream, fresh berries.
What do you need
Ingredients
125 g butter
125 g sugar
150 g chocolate with a high cocoa content
85 g wheat flour, sifted
4 eggs
6 shapes, 8-9 cm in diameter
butter and cocoa powder for sprinkling
How to do
Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan over low heat. Take the pan off the plate. Put in the chocolate pieces and let it melt while stirring gently. Stir in the sifted wheat flour and mix in one egg at a time.
Fill 6 greased portion forms approx. 2/3 full with the chocolate mass. If you do not have portion shapes, you can use double muffin tins or coffee cups (which can withstand the heat). Make sure you do not use too large forms, as the dessert can quickly become too powerful.
Bake in the middle of the oven at 200 degrees (top and bottom heat) for 8-10 minutes, until the outer layer has hardened, but the cake still has a liquid core. The baking time will vary from oven to oven, and it can therefore be an advantage to test bake a cake to test your oven. In my oven, the cake was perfectly baked in 9 minutes, in 10 minutes it was a little too much baked, but still with a small liquid core in the middle.
Dining
Immediately vault the cakes on plates and let them stand for one minute to set. Prick the cake with a spoon, and if the cake is perfectly baked, the liquid core inside will slowly flow a little beyond your plate. Feel free to give the chocolate fondants a little sprinkle of icing sugar and serve with ice cream ( this time it was raspberry ice cream) and berries ( it was strawberries), decorate with fresh mint leaves.
