In a society weighed down by oppression, where many live on the brink of poverty and fear the fall, it's natural to focus on survival and turn a blind eye to the shadows that dance on the periphery.

But that's not who I am.

I've always been the type to face disasters head-on, even when it's gotten me into recent trouble.

Nevertheless,

I'm still here,

still standing,

and still alive.

In fact, on second thought, we're all still alive.

This is for Mehdi Yarrahi, the brave singer behind "Roosarito" (Your Scarf), a song that recently took everyone by surprise.

He was arrested a few days ago for this powerful masterpiece, a poignant reminder of the enduring spirit of "woman, life, freedom.

For those women who fight unjust rules, knowing they might get beat up, get arrested, go to prison, or worse...

But we continue fighting to the end:
