Internet Shotdown and Two in The Morning

It is two in the morning.

I woke up to upload a few videos to YouTube.

At this hour the internet flows like a quiet river, fast and clean… and the VPNs — for once — actually work.

In just half an hour I managed to upload all four videos.

Four videos… each of which took me a full hour just to download from Instagram. (Who would have thought!)

Most of the videos and images of Iran’s 2026 People’s Movement live on Instagram and Telegram — because that is where the vast majority of Iranians visit online.

I felt it in my bones: I must gather these short, burning fragments and carry them to YouTube as well.

If this speed holds, I will keep coming back at these sacred midnight hours.

One video carries the blood-chilling scream of a disaster engineered by the Islamic Republic:

They severed the internet so the world would believe nothing was happening… while in that horrifying darkness, crimes without name were being committed.

Another holds the face of a hero —

a story of courage, sacrifice, of a soul that gave everything and asked for nothing in return.

A martyr.

Then come the montages… faces upon faces of the young who fell for the homeland.

They shouted Freedom with all the fire in their chests —

and the world choked that cry in their throats.

We will not let their voices be silenced. Never.

And the last one… children.

Children of Iran who blossomed and were cut down on the very road to freedom.

How I wish — with every fiber of my being — that all of it were a lie.

Perhaps if I had never seen that photograph… the tiny face, the bullet wound right through it…

perhaps then my heart could still pretend. But I saw.

We all saw. And so at two o’clock in the morning, while the rest of the city sleeps,

I sit here — uploading fire, uploading memory, uploading names that must not fade. For as long as breath remains in me,

their voices will find a way to echo.

News about Bitcoin in Iran and the gradual progress towards the acceptance of cryptocurrencies especially among the ordinary people, not just rich and influential people, but the real ones and the same people I care about the most. Of course, to achieve this, many obstacles must be crossed.
